"We enfold the enduring traditions, values and holidays of the Torah into a sense of community, self expression, compassion and caring. Through worship and song, you can seek spirituality and a deeper relationship with God, yourself, and your temple family."

"TELB VIRTUAL SHABBAT "
Usually Shabbat Services at Temple Emanu-El of Long Beach are on Friday nights at 7:30 pm. Shabbat services include a blend of Hebrew and English built on tradition and innovation. Rabbi's sermons challenge us weekly and Cantor's musicality and leadership of Adult and Children's Choirs add an immeasurable dimension of spirituality. All are welcome to continue the observance of Shabbat by joining the Rabbi's Weekly Torah Class - A Taste of Torah - held on Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. However, during our adherence to "social distancing" during this difficult time, the Temple will remain closed and we will not be able to physically gather for Shabbat Services. As a way of reaching out to the Congregation and as a way to continue the Shabbat celebration, Rabbi Jack and Cantor Lisa have been preparing wonderful videos that capture the essence of our Shabbat service.
